MATH 020: Intermediate Algebra for PHIL& 120

2 Cr
Quarters: F, W, S
This course is taken concurrently with PHIL& 120. It includes a study of functions including the topics of domain, range, evaluating, solving, composing, and finding the inverse. Linear and exponential functions with applications are specifically covered. The course also includes student success skills.
Prerequisite: MATH 080   with a grade of C or better or YVC placement into PHIL& 120   + MATH 020 or higher.
