MATH 080: Algebra Essentials

5 Cr
Quarters: F, W, S, SR
This course teaches foundational math concepts necessary to be successful in college mathematics and intermediate algebra. Topics include fractions, integers, arithmetic expressions, unit conversions, solving and graphing linear equations, proportions and percentages, properties of exponents, scientific notation, and student success skills.
Prerequisite: YVC placement into MATH 080.
