CHEM& 252: Organic Chemistry II Lab

3 Cr
Quarters: S
This is the second course of a two quarter sequence in organic chemistry laboratory intended for students majoring in a scientific field or preparing for health related careers. Students will apply the basic laboratory  techniques learned in CHEM& 251  to more advanced functional group transformations. Students will gain enhanced experience in synthetic methods in addition to a variety of purification and spectroscopic techniques.
Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in CHEM& 243  or completion of with a grade of C or better and CHEM& 251  with a grade of C or better.
