This course offers an introduction to contemporary and historic archaeological approaches, both theoretical and practical. It provides a general background to world prehistory, with special emphasis on the Americas. This course provides the trends and general practice of cultural resources management in the United States, and provides a basic understanding of archaeological preservation.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and eligibility for MATH& 146 + MATH 046 .
