AGSCI 211: Introductory Fruit Science 5 Cr Quarters: S Students will be introduced to production practices, methods, and techniques of commercially grown fruit such as apples, pears, cherries, peaches, and berry crops. Specific topics will include production site location, cultivars, pruning and training, production management, harvesting, and the effect of environmental factors on fruit growth and development. Prerequisite: AGSCI 101 with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor.
