Aerospace Machining Technology, AAS


YVC’s Aerospace Machining Technology program prepare students for entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry. Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aerospace Machining Technology or certificates for CNC Operator or Machining Technology.

This degree prepares students for entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry. Students learn the skills required to plan and carry out the operations to make aerospace machined products that meet precise specifications. Course instruction covers blueprint reading, manual machining, computerized machining and metrology, quality control, engineering drawing, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming.
