VET 160: Clinical Practices II Lecture2 Cr

This course explores veterinary technician nursing skills such as injections, IV catheter placement, blood collection, advanced enteral techniques, urinary catheter placement, cystocentesis. It also provides information on fluid therapy, care of recumbent and geriatric patients, physical therapy, and neonatal care.
Prerequisite: VET 110 , VET 114 , VET 115 , VET 120 , and VET 121 all with a grade of C or better and concurrent enrollment in VET 161 or permission of instructor.
