Your Catalog

The catalog lists YVC’s degrees, certificates and available courses to help you select the right courses, before you meet with your advisor. It also includes important policies and procedures. The information in the catalog helps you throughout your college career from the time you are thinking about attending YVC all the way through to graduation.

Catalog Guidelines: Subject to Change

Every effort has been made to assure the accuracy of the information in this catalog. Students are advised, however, that such information is subject to change without notice, and advisors should, therefore, be consulted regularly for current information.

The college reserves the right, to make changes in any regulations or requirements governing instruction and graduation from the college and its various divisions. Changes shall take effect whenever the proper authorities determine and shall apply not only to prospective students but also to those who are enrolled at the college. Except as other conditions permit, the college will make every reasonable effort to ensure that students currently enrolled in programs and making normal progress toward completion of any requirements can complete any program which is to be discontinued.

Specification of Catalog Year

Students may elect to graduate under the official printed catalog in force when they first entered YVC, provided they remain continuously enrolled (continuous enrollment is defined as attending at least two quarters out of each academic year) and the lapsed time does not exceed five years. They may also graduate under the official printed catalog in force when they apply for graduation.

Limitations of Liability

The college’s total liability for claims arising from a contractual relationship with the student in any way related to classes or programs shall be limited to the tuition and expenses paid by the student to the college for those classes or programs. In no event shall the college be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of earnings or profits.
