The Associate in Business - DTA/MRP (Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Ready Pathway) degree is designed for students who plan to pursue one of the business disciplines at a four-year college or university. Students have the opportunity to start on the business care coursed while completing their general education requirements. Upon completion of the DTA, students will most college or university schools as a junior.

Required Courses
MATH 111 : Minimum grade of “C” required.
Humanities
Choose fifteen credits
May include a maximum of five credits in skill performance courses which are underlined in the approved distribution list and a maximum of five credits of 100 level foreign languages OR 100 level American Sign Language.
Select courses from THREE disciplines (subject areas) from the respective list of approved Humanities and Natural Sciences in the distribution list of this catalog.
No more than 10 credits from any one discipline (subject area) allowed. Maximum of five credits may be taken as “S” grades. 2.0 GPA required.
Natural Sciences/Math
Must include one lab course which is underlined in the approved distribution list. Must include MATH& 148 .
Select courses from THREE disciplines (subject areas) from the respective list of approved Humanities and Natural Sciences in the distribution list of this catalog.
No more than 10 credits from any one discipline (subject area) allowed. Maximum of five credits may be taken as “S” grades. 2.0 GPA required.
Social Sciences
Must include ECON& 201 and ECON& 202 . Select at least one additional discipline (subject area) other than Economics.
No more than 10 credits from any one discipline (subject area) allowed. Maximum of five credits may be taken as “S” grades. 2.0 GPA required.
Business Core
No “S” grades allowed in Business core. 2.0 GPA required for the category. Recommended grade for the business courses in 2.0 (“C”).
Electives
Choose ten credits
Consult with your academic advisor to carefully select an additional five credits from courses numbered 100 or above.
