Engineering Certificates

The engineering department offers 3 short term certificates, including drafting, aerospace machining technology, and CNC operators. For more information about aerospace machining technology and CNC operators certificates reference the aerospace section of this catalog.

Required Courses

This certificate provides entry-level skills in the area of manual and computer-aided drafting. The program focuses on specific occupational skills and is suited for persons who find it hard to attend college for two years to acquire employable skills.

The credits earned through this program can be applied to the associate of applied science degree requirements for civil engineering or computer drafting. The first-year classes are to be taken for the certificate.

Note: The one-year drafting certificate program is the first year of the associate of applied science construction design and civil engineering technology degrees.
