YVC’s Aerospace Machining Technology program prepare students for entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry. Students can earn an associate of applied science degree in aerospace machining technology or certificates for CNC operator or machining technology.

This degree prepares students for entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry. Students learn the skills required to plan and carry out the operations needed to make aerospace machined products that meet precise specifications. Course instruction covers blueprint reading, manual machining, computerized machining and metrology, quality control, engineering drawing, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software as well as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming.
