The Associate of Business - Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Ready Pathway (AB-DTA/MRP) degree is designed for students who plan to pursue one of the business disciplines at a four-year college or university. Students can start on the business core courses while completing their general education requirements. Upon completion of the AB-DTA/MRP, students will enter most colleges or universities as a junior.
Students may graduate under the catalog in force during entry for a period of not more than five years if continuously enrolled.

Group B
A grade of C or better required to satisfy Quantitative Basic Requirements.
Core Classes
Select courses from THREE disciplines (subject areas) from the respective list of approved Humanities, Natural Sciences, or Social Sciences distribution courses located under the DTA Distribution List section in the catalog.
No more than ten credits from any one discipline (subject area) is allowed.
Maximum of five credits may be taken as “S” grades.
2.0 GPA required
Humanities
Choose fifteen credits.
May include a maximum of 5 credits in skill performance which is indicated with a (P) in the Humanities Distribution , and a maximum of 5 credits of 100-level foreign languages or 100-level American Sign Language.
Business Core
All Business degrees must include the 25-credit Business Major core. No S grades allowed.
Required minimum GPA for this category is a 2.0. Recommended minimum grade for business courses is a C.
Electives
Consult with your academic advisor to carefully select an additional five credits from courses numbered 100 or above.
AB-DTA/MRP Program Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze and problem solve in business situations
- Apply quantitative reasoning to solve accounting and financial problems that occur in business
- Examine basic legal business concepts within the business environment
