Phlebotomy Certificate

Phlebotomy is an exciting entry-level health care career that provides ample employment opportunities and excellent exposure to the many areas of the health care industry.  Phlebotomists draw blood for tests, transfusions, research or blood donations.  Some explain their work to patients and provide assistance when patients have adverse reactions after their blood is drawn.  The certificate takes two quarters to complete. The Phlebotomy certificate is offered as a Winter/Spring cohort accepting the first 35 qualified students, and holds the lab instruction on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses.
