Automotive Service Tech, AAS Program Learning Outcomes

Student will be able to:

1. Distinguish automobile systems and their function, components, operation, and symptomatic failures.
2. Choose, navigate, and interpret applicable service information from appropriate industry resources.
3. Formulate a systematic diagnostic plan considering the following:  customer concern, system operations, and test outcomes.
4. Evaluate proper maintenance, service, diagnostic and repair procedures.
5. Compile documentation of service appropriate for the customer, personal, and legal record.
