PHIL 215: Introduction to Ethics 5 Cr
Quarters: S
Introduction to Ethics assesses the theories that inform moral behavior. Issues addressed include the nature of value claims, morality and well-being, ethics and science, ethics and religion, and the connections between theory and daily life. Ethical theory will be applied to a variety of contemporary problems such as: abortion, the death penalty, war, animal rights, and social justice.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 .
