ECED 260: Early Childhood Teacher Practicum

This practicum course integrates early childhood education content, concepts, and activities with an applied learning experience.  The primary focus is on mastering terminology related to the National Association of Education of Young Children (NAEYC) program standards and guidelines through the development of a capstone project portfolio.  The student will apply their knowledge of developmentally and culturally appropriate practices by planning, implementing and evaluating their instruction in a preschool setting.                       

 
Prerequisite: Completion of ECED 156  and ECED 160  with a grade of C or better.
