RT 140: Radiology Patient Care Theory 2 Cr

This course is designed to teach the radiology student basic principles of patient care. The student will obtain basic knowledge of patient interaction, patient history, transport, infection control including medical/surgical asepsis, emergency situations, basic laboratory tests, venipuncture, contrast media administration, and pharmacology.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Radiologic Sciences program.
