AHMA 116: Clinical Procedures II Variable Cr
Quarters: F, S
This is the second variable credit course that completes the clinical procedures courses. It provides a theoretical foundation and hands-on practice of basic laboratory procedures and techniques commonly performed in the physician’s office or clinic. The role of medical assisting specialty in relation to these procedures is emphasized.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Medical Assisting program and completion of AHMA 115 with a score of 75% or better.
Note: This course can be waived for students who have successfully completed AH 170 and AH 171.
