BIOL 201: Biology I: Cells & Molecules 5 Cr

This course is intended for transfer science majors and is the first in a three-quarter sequence. The topics covered are the nature of biological science, evolution, energy transfer, ecology, cellular reproduction, and genetics.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and eligibility for MATH 095 and 1 year of high school chemistry, concurrent enrollment in, or completion of CHEM 100 with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor.
