ECON 213: Economic History5 Cr Quarters: W An introduction to the methods of economic interaction from antiquity to the present. This course offers a comprehensive world survey, emphasizing important economic events-such as the invention of currency, the Industrial Revolution, and the development of economic thoughts-to include major economic thinkers and their contribution to the understanding of economic processes. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and eligibility for MATH 085 . Note: This class is cross-disciplined. Credit cannot be given for both HIST 213 and ECON 213.
