ABE 083: Basic Technology 2Variable Cr
Quarters: F, W, S, SR
This ABE course provides an introduction to basic computer skills for ABE students who are novice computer users. Through a hands-on approach, students will learn intermediate level word processing skills, learn introductory spread sheet skills, and learn how to create multimedia presentations. Basic reading and writing will be taught in the context of using a personal computer. This course prepares students to successfully use technology in college level classes. HS21+ students can earn Occupational Education or elective credits for this class.
Prerequisite: ABE 082 or instructor’s permission.
