CMST 280: Intercultural Communication

Quarters: F, W, S, SR
This course provides a theoretical understanding of the process and role of communication when faced with cultural plurality. It covers classical theories related to intercultural communication and interdisciplinary areas such as cultural studies and gender studies. Discussions focus on the changing cultural terrain in the United States and on the globalization of mass or popular culture.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL 095 .
