HIST& 215: Women in US History 5 Cr Quarters: O This course examines both the role of women in US history as well as how history has affected women’s roles in society from the 1600s to modern day. It focuses on key moments of women’s lived experiences and how those are shaped by the intersections of race, class, sexuality, and religion, to name a few. A major theme in this course is how concepts of gender have influenced social, political, and cultural movements. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and eligibility for MATH& 146 + MATH 046 Distribution for DTA: Social Sciences
