BIOL& 100: Biology for Non-majors with Lab

This course is intended as an overview of major biological concepts for students who do not plan to major in biology-related fields. Genetics, evolution, energy use and ecology will be explored. Emphasis is placed on applying concepts to student’s lives and to current events. Students will perform scientific experiments to explore how scientific investigations work. This course is not intended as a prerequisite for other biology courses.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101  and eligibility for MATH 080 .
