MUSC& 133: Music Theory 3

This course expands on the basic theoretical concepts dealing with common-practice melody, harmony, and voice leading and demonstrates their analytical and compositional uses.  Nonchord tones and seventh chords, particularly dominant seventh chords, will be covered in depth.  This is the third in a series of six theory courses offered.  
Prerequisite: MUSC& 132  with a C or better or permission of instructor and concurrent enrollment in MUSC& 123 .
