MUSC& 131: Music Theory 1

This course focuses on the study of major and minor scales and key signatures, intervals, triads, seventh chords, introduction to harmonic function, and basic elements of rhythm. This is the first in a series of six theory courses offered.
Prerequisite: Completion of MUS 100 or permission of instructor and concurrent enrollment in MUSC& 121.
