BIOL& 222: Majors Cell/Molecular: Biology 1 5 Cr

This course is intended for transfer science majors and is the first in a three-quarter sequence. The topics covered are the nature of biological science, basic chemistry, cell biology, genetics, evolution and energy transfers.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and MATH 095 AND either 1) concurrent enrollment or completion in CHEM& 139 or 2) Completion of CHEM& 139 or 1-year of high school chemistry with a C or better.
