5 Cr Quarters:W, S This course provides practical field experience for students interested in pursuing a career as a paraeducator or certified teacher within a Kindergarten through 12th grade school setting. Students will work alongside a certified teacher with the purpose of observing and practicing effective instructional practices. This course will explore the Washington State Recommended Core Competencies for Paraeducators | OSPI and how they relate to effective educational practices. Prerequisite: EDUC 202 with a grade of C or better.
