PHIL 220: Philosophy of Religion

This course will survey various religious worldviews and the major world religions that represent them. The course will also cover standard topics in philosophy of religion, such as historical and contemporary philosophical arguments for and against the existence of God, the relationship between religion and reason as well as science, the possibility of miracles, and the epistemic role of religious experience.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101  or permission of instructor.
