PHIL 215: Introduction to Ethics

Introduction to Ethics assesses the underlying theories that inform morally relevant behavior.  Topics include moral relativism, morality and well-being, moral responsibility, ethics and science, and ethics and religion. Ethical theory will be applied to a variety of problems such as: abortion, the death penalty, discrimination and inequality, animal rights and war.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 .
