DH 377: General Pathology for the Dental Hygienist
2 Cr Quarters:W The consideration of disease as a disruption of normal physiologic process is the focus of this course. The body’s responses to a variety of pathological stressors is examined. Modifications to the process of dental hygiene care for patients with systemic diseases are emphasized. Prerequisite: Completion of the first quarter of the Dental Hygiene Program. Note: Either DH 377 or DH 177 can be taken for credit but not both.
