CJ& 112: Criminology 5 Quarters: F, S This course explores major historical and contemporary theories of crime causation and its context from an individual (micro-level), group/society (macro-level), and national/international levels. Discussions will surround comparing various systems of law and how typology of crimes are handled in corrections when evaluating national and international criminology. Historical crime theories will be considered when reviewing new developments in the field of criminology. Measuring crime, criminal behavior and crime patterns will also be explored.
