CJ& 105: Introduction to Corrections

This is an introductory course providing students with an overview of the corrections system in the United States. Students will examine the role of corrections as it historically progressed, examine the philosophy and rationale and, society’s attempt to control crime. Contemporary issues and alternatives to corrections will also be explored.
