SUD 270: Substance Use Disorder Counseling Techniques 5 Cr

This course will provide students with knowledge about counseling theories and approaches commonly used in treating substance use disorder(s). Students will analyze the role of the counselor in the therapeutic process, and demonstrate techniques and interventions to engage clients in treatment services
Prerequisite: SUD 160 with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor.
