ART 202: Clay I: Handbuilding 5 Cr
Quarters: W, F
This course is an exploration of three-dimensional form in clay using pinch, coil, slab, and solid construction with a variety of surface treatments, including glaze firing. Emphasis is on creativity and sculptural techniques, as well as developing a working understanding of clay materials and processes. This course includes lectures, supervised studio time, and group critiques.
