Financial management of farm and agribusiness firms is critical to long-term business success. Concepts include financial statement analysis, functioning of security markets, risk management, interest rates, and discounting methods to evaluate investment alternatives. The course will equip students to analyze more complex managerial decisions such as capital management and capital budgeting.
