MATH& 264: Calculus IV 5 Cr
Quarters: F, S
This course is the fourth of the four-quarter calculus sequence. Topics studied include partial differentiation and applications, the chain rule for multivariable functions, directional derivatives, optimization, multiple integrals, line integrals, curl, Green’s Theorem, Stokes’ Theorem, and the Divergence Theorem.
Prerequisite: MATH& 163 with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor.
Note: A graphing calculator is required for this class. The Calculator should be equivalent to the TI-84+ or TI-nspire (not CAS).
