MATH 093: Intermediate Algebra Essentials5 Cr
Quarters: F, W, S, SR
This is the second algebra course for non-STEM majors. This course will fulfill the Intermediate Algebra requirement for the DTA. Topics include polynomials, functions, linear inequalities, variations, solving non-linear equations (quadratic, radical, absolute value, exponential, and logarithmic). Factorials and sequences are also introduced.
Prerequisite: HSC 077 or MATH 084 with a grade of C or better or placement into MATH 093.
