AHBC 201: Coding Professional Practice5 Cr
Quarters: S, SR
During this course, the Medical Billing and Coding student will be placed in either a medical office, long-term care facility, hospital, or an online externship program. They will practice the skills they have learned throughout the Medical Billing and Coding curriculum. Students will complete additional applications of billing and coding procedures that will be taught and tested in campus seminars and internet-based modules.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Medical Billing and Coding certificate classes: AHBC 121 , AHBC 122 , AHBC 131, AHBC 132 , and AHMA 125 .
