Students develop skills in thinking and reading in the cognitive domain resulting in increased comprehension and expanded problem-solving skills in reading. The students will develop skills in questioning, analyzing, synthesizing and applying information while learning to evaluate and communicate about assumptions, assertions, arguments, and definitions found in written materials.
