BIOL 107: Introduction to Plant Science5 Cr
Quarters: F
An introductory course presenting principles of anatomy, morphology, physiology, and growth of plants. The effects of environmental conditions, cultural practices, and management techniques on plant growth, development, yield, and quality are discussed. Students are introduced to important crops of Washington as well as varying plant propagation and quality evaluation principles. This course is cross disciplined. Credit cannot be given for both BIOL 107 and AGSCI 101 .
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL& 101 and eligibility for MATH 075 .
